Pouring paint for vessels necessarily leaves a swirly puddle of extra paint drip — but that extra paint doesn’t go to the trash! After leaving the paint overnight to dry completely, it becomes a flexible plastic-like sheet of colors.

For this collage, I have taken various “paint skins” leftover from other projects to create a new piece. I believe it is important to be cognizant of the environmental impact of our art and crafts supplies, and use them as efficiently and effectively as possible.
